Diatoms

I've had my new tank up and running for 2 months now and I haven't experienced a diatom bloom yet. Is it possible that I won't see one or should I still expect it?

You may never get one, you may get a massive one in 6 months, who knows. If you have a robust CUC already they maybe dealing with it before your seeing it. My CUC demolished my bloom in 2 days after I added them. Well I say my CUC, it was mostly my very greedy and highly entertaining conch that did the business.
