seamonkeychar Posted December 22, 2014 Share Posted December 22, 2014 This tank is about 8 months old.Livestock: 1 emerald crabCorals: ricordea, hammer coral, shrooms, zoas, sympodium, blastoLight: Ecoxotic Par38 bulb, it is 21 wattsOther than that this tank has an airstone. I do weekly 100% water changes (except when I do them every 2 weeks....because I'm lazy). I keep the lid on, to reduce evap. I don't really top off, there isn't much need because there is such little evap in between water changes. Link to comment

I *believe* what I used was Caribsea Arag-alive in "Special Grade Reef", but don't quote me on that. Link to comment

Micro stars, asterina, various sponges and feather dusters, etc. Nothing crazy so far. The crab eats Rod's when I actually feed (about twice a month), and I'm assuming algae the rest of the time. He was put in to deal with bubble algae, which he has done very well. Link to comment

(Edited to add pics of growth) It's slow, but there. I don't dose at all, so that is kind of expected. I also don't really want explosive growth, there is only so much room in this tank.
