mountaineer
I saw some awesome dragon's breath macro at my LFS and would love to add it to my tank. However, I have a starry blenny that grazes rocks/GHA non-stop. Would he tear up the dragon's breath? I'd rather not give him an expensive lunch. Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm hoping somebody has first-hand experience. Link to comment
jestep
Do you know if he eat's macros like ulva or caulerpa? If not, I would say it's probably safe. If so, I'd say there's a good chance it would end up as a meal. Gracilaria hayi is pretty much inedible and just as good as dragon's breath IMO, if you want a safe alternative. Link to comment
mountaineer
I'm not sure about his macro habits. I do have a small rogue piece of some kind of green macro that's growing out of a barnacle rock I got from somebody else's tank break down (I didn't purposefully introduce it, it appeared after the fact). The blenny took a bite, spat it out, and has left it alone since. Link to comment
