rone_kevin66
I found this guy in my sump sock. I thinks it's a Cirolanid Isopod but not 100%. His eyes look huge to me. I don't want to kill if it's a good isopod Link to comment
davidncbrown
Hmm looks kind of suspicious to me! At least it's not one of these guys: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Real-Giant-Isopod-No-1-Tani-Phone5-5S-case-cover-very-Rare-Limited-/281523471021?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item418c1b42ad ;-) Link to comment

jamescstein
My money is on Cirolanid Isopod. I am currently battling these though it has been a while since I've seen one. They will attach to fish and could eventually kill them. They will usually detach and hide during the day. Link to comment
metrokat
Isopod and NOT the good kind IMO. These are parasitic. Watch your fish for signs of more. Link to comment
rone_kevin66
That's what I thought. Thanks for the help. He is a goner and will keep an eye out for more. U look at night with a flash light because I also been hunting gorilla crabs that came with my LR Link to comment
jamescstein
I usually look before I go to bed and first thing in the morning before lights on using a red flashlight. Suck them out with a turkey baster. I've tried baiting with a bottle trap but I just seem to catch brittle stars with that one. Link to comment
