Wjcastiglione
Can I put a torch right next to a torch if they're different kinds? like one color and another color? or will they kill each other? Link to comment

GHill762
typically froggies and hammers play nice and torches are the odd man out, they many times don't play nice with anyone. I've even seen threads where two different torches attacked each other. Link to comment
jestep
Some torches are not compatible with other torches. I've never seen any torch compatible with any non-torch euphyllia. Luckily with euphyllia it's easy to tell before permanent damage is done. Should be fine with wall and branching hammers, wall and branching frogspawn, octospawn, and cristatas, which are the commonly available euphyllias in the hobby. Link to comment
dmasterx1x
as far as two torches touching, i had a pretty common purple/brown torch right next to to an orange/gold aussie torch and both were touching polyps regularly, with no adverse effects. They've since been separated because i decided to re-scape. Link to comment
clownfitch
There is no guarantee that different types will coexist. I am a euphyllia collector and have seen some interesting things. Wall hammers do not always play nice and gold torches do not always play nice. The hard part is that they may be fine at first and then the next thing you know you have a jellied hammer or torch. Mr. Microscope
dont do it. I've put two types of torches together and one ended up dead. Link to comment
D Z
I can agree with most of what has been said here. I 100% would not trust a torch next to a hammer/frog. I have personally lost a very nice toxic green hammer that way, and the torch that killed it was not even a gold one. As for torches next to other torches, its a toss up. I personally wouldn't take the risk. Link to comment
PiscesFish
I followed someone on Instagram who had tons of torches, all touching eachother and they were fine. But of course, theres always that one special torch coral that hates everything and decides to sting anything. Do not put a torch next to any other euphyllia. It will send out its sweepers. I had my torch next to my frogspawn and it was fine for awhile until i saw the torch sticking itself to the frogspawn. Though, my frogspawn and my hammer seems to get along nicely with eachother. Their sweepers touches all the time with no ill effects. Link to comment
Swing2Harmony
I put a small tentical aussie torch next to a long tentical torch and the the long one became short, I moved it away, but it remained short and never recovered until months later died of BJD. Link to comment
