dottybackss
I having a 2.25'' tiger pistol shrimp that paired with a yellow watchman goby in my 40 gallon breeder. I always heard him making a loud ''tick'' sound by hitting the glass at night and sometimes at daytimes. Is he going to break the glass in long term? Link to comment
reefernanoman
I had a tiger pistol shrimp for about a year in my NC 28G and always heard that noise all the time. Never had issues with it breaking my glass. I doubt it. Link to comment

ndrobey
Pistol shrimp make that noise without hitting the glass. It's what they do. The sound is why they are called pistol shrimp. Link to comment
Tamberav
No worries, he isn't hitting the glass That is just the sound their claw can make when snapping it closed Your little shrimp is a true powerhouse! Link to comment
