Red Hex/Branching Rare Macroalgae for Sale!

Hey everyone, I am back with a different type of macro that many people may have not seen yet.

As I am not familiar with the scientific name, I will just be calling it Red Branch Algae. If you happen to know it, feel free to let me know.

It will be $20.00 for a 2" or so piece with many branches on it.

PM me for my PayPal address.

I have enough supply for about 10 packages. I probably have more but will do reevaluation once I send out the first 10. If you do not make it in the first shipment I will keep you in mind and PM you once I can ship out again.

Care is as follows:

It is a calcareous macro so will not be readily consumed by your snails/crabs.

I find it a great display macro as it is not suited for nutrient export because of its slow growth.

Has a rubbery feel to it and is very stiff, therefore it likes high flow. I keep my largest colony right across from a powerhead and its growth form is very appealing.

It also prefers high light, as I have it highest in my tank.. almost touching the water line. Basically, treat this macro as an SPS and it will do fine. It grows rather slow but will have decent growth speed in proper conditions. It may not do well in lower light tanks that may or may not have lots of nutrients as I have seen it perish in one such tank.

Your clipping will come free-floating. Just superglue to a rock/plug and it will eventually attach. It may take a while so the glue will be necessary.

Any questions, please ask! I will ship starting December 22nd on Monday as I need to replenish shipping supplies this week. It will be sent using 2-Day Priority Mail w/ USPS and that is included in the price in the first part of my post. Macro ships safely using two day and is tolerant of temp changes but keep in mind that if it is freezing where you live, there is a risk.

I will also consider trades for Blue Scroll (or any other unique macro) on one order.

I have sold on nano-reef successfully before so buy with confidence. I will try to answer messages and inquiries in a timely manner and here is a thread from past dealings: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/351719-red-bushtitan-macro-algae-for-sale/

Happy Holidays.

Stunning macro....

It's uncanny how much it resembles the red dragon acro I used to have. I imagine it would be easier to keep as well.

:o So.. beautifulllllll

I've always loved the look of deepwater acro. I have such a small tank though. I'll def be upgrading soon, the temptation will eventually win out. Then I can haz alll the coral.

Pretty :) Wish it wasn't winter :(

I know =[ Should have more by the time it warms up a little if you would like.
