SI-Reef Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 I have a 29 gallon BIO cube running an XM 150 Watt 20000K Metal Halide Bulb which i need to replace shortly.I was thinking about trying the Phoenix Metal Halide 14K BulbShould stay with the XM or switch over to the Phoenix? jedimasterben Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 The human eye cannot really see the intensity of blue light. I'm not sure of the spectral output of your XM 20K bulb, but it probably has mostly blue output and little green (which we see very well). Link to comment
