Jorgieee Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Has anyone had problems with ocean ice natural salt ? my tank has been up and running for a couple months already and it still isn't crystal clear I have little white specs i don't if it's residue but it's floating around I have done everything to try to help it by adding purigen, chemi-pure elite and filter floss I can't think off anything else to help it but carbon any suggestions ? Fishgirl2393 Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 I don't know about the white dots but I used Oceanic and wasn't happy with it because the calcium levels are really high, mag was really high, alk was low, and pH was low, strontium was also too low and all this caused me to have issues with hard corals (LPS) in the tank. I switched to AquaVitro Salinity and have been very happy with the switch. However, I also know many people who use Oceanic and are happy with it. Link to comment
