Bunto87
I'm having issues with one of my zoas. Over the past few days. Bought it as a single polyp that was fully open. It's been about a week and the furthest it's opened was 3/4 of the way. The past two days it hasn't opened at all. This morning I noticed the zoa's head in diameter has shrunken smaller than its base and still won't open. Any ideas on what's going on? Parameters include: PH- 8.2 GH- 180 KH- 80 NO2- 0 NO3- 20 SG- 1.025 Water temp 79* Link to comment
Legendary Corals
Should also test for Phosphates, Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium in your tank. Link to comment
Bunto87
Phosphates read 0.0 and calcium is at 440. All of the other zoanthids are thriving. Link to comment
jedimasterben
Buying single-polyp frags of zoanthids is generally not recommended. You never know if the seller cut it properly, etc. Also, why is this posted in the PicO Aquariums sponsor forum? Link to comment
