ml86743 Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 Ive had my little cadlight 4g running for about 6 months now and within the past 3-4 weeks I have noticed little to no activity from my snails. I have 2 Nerites, 3 Ceriths. and 3 Astreas..The lack of productivity seemed to come out of nowhere. They aren't dead just retracted up into their shells. Basic params are all zero... I have no hermits to kill them...MAG is about 1350 so I think we can exclude that..They have a food source.. Salinity is 1.025 Temp is 79 Ive actually lost one of my nerites and after an inspection I saw a tube-like hard formation on the shell, brown in coloration. There was also a small hole that looked "drilled" into the shell. One of the Astreas has the exact same formation. Any ideas? Link to comment
