Ocellaris pairing?

Hey all,

I've had my ocellaris clownfish for about 6 months. I added a little guy a couple of days ago, it's about half the size of my resident clown, maybe a pinch bigger.

I'm almost positive the new one's not a female, as it was one of the smallest from a tank containing a large number of other clowns.

Anyways, my resident clown is showing some aggression, charging at the new guy and not letting him out of the corner. However, I frequently see them together, though my resident chases it around every now and again. The new guy isn't submitting, I haven't seen it flip over and quiver yet, it just "runs away"..

The new guy's not appearing to be injured at all, it seems healthy, though it shows little interest in food.

Does this seem normal?

I've separated the new guy into a clear floating livebearer trap to see if I can't encourage him to eat. He was hatched and raised in my schools aquaculture lab, so he is used to tank life.

My resident clown is a bit over an inch, the new guy is about half that size. Tank is 20 gallons, FOWLR.

Thanks!
