New Sand Bed Question

I'm starting a new tank, and used the CaribSea Arag-Alive sand. It's the Fiji Pink, which is a bit bigger than the sugar sand. There's obviously quite a bit of dust that comes up when the tank is initially filled. That initial dust storm settled days ago, and my cycle is well under way.

My question is in regards to the clouds that appear whenever I disturb the sand. Any time I touch the sand, I get the same milky white dust storm that appeared on the first day. Is this okay? I'm running my skimmer 24/7, and I've also put a filter sock on the overflow to catch as much particulate matter as possible.

Should I be stirring this up a bunch to try and remove the dust? Or should I leave it alone, and let it eventually work itself out? I just want to avoid dust storms in the future when I begin stocking the tank.

Thoughts?

just leave it be. eventually your sand bed will be teeming with life and won't be as bad, but stirring the sand bed will almost always send stuff into the water column..
