Outofstock Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 Brown algae with almost brush like tips, has root type runners that grip the rock. Not a super crazy grower but def have to keep my eye on it. Anyone have any ideas? Doubt many things munch on it Link to comment

Reminds me of mini versions of the trees from Dr Suess' the lorax. Tedious to remove due to the vine like roots all over the rocks too. Link to comment

GHill762 Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 looks like hydroids to me as well. FWIW, many types of hydroids aren't a problem, some can be a huge pain.. those look pretty prolific and look as though they could cause a problem. Link to comment
