duganderson
I bought a used RSM 130 to replace my nano cube 28. I will be moving the same rockwork to the new tank. I'm adding sand to the tank and will have mostly LPS, SPS, macros and a couple sofites in addition to 3-4 fish. How many and which powerheads do you recommend for this tank and what do you recommend for placement? What do you think about the new Maxspect Gyre 130 placed vertically along the back wall? http://premiumaquatics.com/products/maxspect-xf130-gyre-generator.html Thanks, Doug Link to comment
jestep
I think the gyre would work, but is probably major overkill in a cube'ish tank this size. Maybe something like a jebao rw-8 or a vortech MP40 on a lower setting. Link to comment

I do have a Koralia or two I could put in there but I was looking for something smaller/more discrete with less dead spots (I'm thinking the random flow of the Jebao would help with this) Link to comment
duganderson
Any experience or thoughts about the Jebao RW-8? For this tank, is a pump with wave making capability important? Do I even need another powerhead. The flow is decent set up with the stock pumps Link to comment
