ug.mac
I don't believe this is possible but still like to pick your brain on this one. I had to shutdown the display tank due to a major crash, all the rocks, sand have been removed then followed with 100% water change. So I technically I don't have bio filtration system but I still have two clownfish and one six line wrasse in the tank. I will be setting up this tank again soon but I will still try to clean the system as thoroughly as possible before I feel comfortable to go back. My question is, Is it possible to support my three little fishes for 45 days so I could cycle the tank or I better to give them away? Thanks. ug. Link to comment
Azedenkae
Yes. Just do regular water changes. Three fish won't foul up a tank that quickly. Actually what size tank is it? Anyways it is entirely possible mate, dun worry. Link to comment
CronicReefer
See if your LFS can hold them for you. Also I have had success with instant ocean bio-spira restoring my biofilter in under 48hrs after I accidentally got chlorine in my tank. Link to comment

Anyways it is entirely possible mate, dun worry. That's great to know. I have a 5 gallon tank with HOB filter I could setup easily, water change won't be an issue, something I've been doing in last 3 years. See if your LFS can hold them for you. Think about it like you're quarantining fish... for 45 days. 5 gallons will require quite a bit of water change though. Make sure to feed only moderately. Link to comment
