can two of them and like two swimming fish be put into the 20?

I personally kept a pair of hifin gobies and a pistol shrimp all together in a 20 long. They are great fun to watch.

Yeah as long as you add the fish slowly obviously, only one or 2 at a time, then wait several weeks to a month before adding another to make sure your tank can support the bio load. Like Maniu said 3-5 fish is probably the max. I had the 2 gobies, 2 nano clowns and a six line wrasse.

Just want to add that my recommendation is based on fish max size and bio-load they produce. Eviota gobies are probably one the smallest nano species, excluding inverts of cause. Also waste they produce is minimal. Clown fish on the other hand is a pig in comparison. So what I am basically trying to say is, research, research and one more time research. Make a list of species you like, learn about their habits, max size, comparability and care. Compromise on maximum number of fish your system can handle...................

And divide that by 2.

Do you have any rock anemones? I had the 2 gobies for probably 6 months, then got the rock anemone and no more tiny gobies just a little dissapearing fin and a fat anemone.
