loyalhero90
I'm going to make a new fixture with this heatsink: http://www.rapidled.com/6-x-12-premium-heat-sink-and-enclosure/ . But I don't want to hang it . Has anyone made a diy on tank mounting fixture. These look pretty cool but wrong light and kind of expensive http://www.pacificsunusa.com/product/spider-mount Link to comment
farkwar
You can buy aluminum at MetasDepot.com for the rails. Tapplastics.com you can buy acrylic, say 1/2" acrylic for legs or brackets. Or get two 3/8" acrylic, bend them into almost 95 degrees, allow for bending under weight. Mount to back of tank stand, mount light to them. You can bend aluminum bar too for your mounts. Eisernes
I made one once with aluminum stock from lowes. They sell it in all shapes and sizes, it's cheap, and it's easy to work with. Spray it with krylon fusion afterwards and you won't have to worry about corrosion. Link to comment
