Luciano92
I have had a Royal Gramma for over a month now and he has been swimming around fine and eating well. I realized my salt mix was really high for about a week then I lowered it back down. All of a sudden the color didn't look so good on the Gramma and he stopped eating and acting strange. The only other fish I have is a blue Damsel and he eats fine but it color looks a little off as well but hardly noticeable.......... Any thoughts ? Could the high salinity done it or something else? LynkUK
Did you change the salinty all at once to tye correct level? Salinity should only be changed very gradually. Link to comment
Luciano92
It was at the top of my scale at 1.032 then I took it down to 1.028 and the next day(today) to 1.026 Link to comment

jestep
That's roughly a 20% salinity decrease in 2 days assuming there's no margin of error in the measurements. Not sure what to do at this point, but that's probably too rapid of a drop. Link to comment
