duganderson Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 I have RBTA with a hosted oc. clown in a 28 g. cube. I would like to get a Porcelain Anemone Crab. Would they both host in the same anemone? I do NOT want the crab to kick out the clown. Would the clown for sure win out in a battle for the anemone? My hosted anemone and clown are my favorite part of my tank. If I wanted a Porcelain Anemone Crab, would I need to get another anemone? OR would the crab host my frogspawns or duncans. Would a rock anemone be a good host for a crab? Thanks, Doug Link to comment

They both could host or maybe neither one does. If it is your favorite, then don't muck it up with adding a competitor for the host nem. Now you get to justify another tank for the crab... FishFrog Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Sometimes you can buy a crab that is already on a mini carpet nem. There are many types of porcelain crabs and not all of them do this. Mine hides under a rock and sometimes charges a hermit. Link to comment
