Wattman
Just purchased a new tank off of Craigslist. It has all kinds of stuff I've never seen before. My first tank I used dry rock so please bear with me. There are two including this one the size of a half dollar and one the size of a dime. (UPDATE) After more researching I'm afraid it's a Majano Anemone. I guess it could be worse [insert Aptasia here], but I kind of like how they look. I don't have any coral in this 12 gallon tank yet so they might stay for a little while. Link to comment
Deleted User 8
Majano Anemone, you can tell by the stubby arms with the little bulbs on the end aptasia are long and slender and come to a point. Can be as much of a pain as Aptasia IMO, they tend to take over and they have a nasty sting. I would get rid of it (of course in the most humane and quick manner). If you have another tank to put it in, it would be cool to see how big it gets and if it goes crazy with taking over. Buzz Link to comment
