cindyp
Well Cindy; that is the second time you have made burst out loud in laughter! hee! also, i'm having NO luck with my acans. they've all lost their colors. very sad. If you don't give them the proper care, sure. If you don't have the proper tools and knowledge, sure. If you keep your water clean, do regular water changes, and practice overall good husbandry with the proper equipment, naw. all valid points, chris. but i'm not ready with the husbandary (wifery?) or the equipment for sticks yet. in fact, i had my own drama and trauma recently losing a blasto within 2 days and receding favia. wah! If your not up to the husbandry/ care then thats merely a choice you've made. Easily corrected if you want to in fact, i had my own drama and trauma recently losing a blasto within 2 days and receding favia. wah! Within 2 days of getting them or within 2 days of each other? Easily corrected if you want to Within 2 days of getting them or within 2 days of each other? definitely. but i am a baby hobbyist, that is for sure. no, the blasto was doing really well--at least, in my eyes. its skirt (?) was open and i spot fed it and it was happy. but it was never "fluffy" as some more experienced hobbyist talk about. anyway, one day skirt lost color, it shrunk. mouth gaped. i moved it to more sheltered spot, but its face fell off and it died. no warning (to me) whatsoever. bummed. LOL! i have had the blasto for four weeks? it is next to some zoas. could that be it? i have sexy shrimps, but they were never near it. I'd suspect the shrimp over the zoas for sure, but I don't really know much about the sexy shrimp (other then they would likely become wrasse food...) but zoas don't normally bother much unless they grow over it.
