clownfitch Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Euphyllia actually do split. As the skeleton grows each individual head splits into two heads and so forth. New heads do form on the stalks as well. The hammer in the OP looks too small to be ready to split though. You can tell when it has its tentacles retracted if it is splitting which takes a while, not just over night like a mushroom or nem. Link to comment
