SgtBhaji
Sorry for the lousy picture, but I just couldn't seem to get a good one of this thing right in the middle of the photo. (there's another to the right too.) I picked up some zoas the other day and found these little buggers on the rock. They look like Aptasia but they're bright green, which doesn't come across in the photo. They also glow quite significantly under blue LEDs. Any thoughts? Many thanks! http://s1114.photobucket.com/user/SgtBhaji/media/majano.jpg.html'> Link to comment
SgtBhaji
Mojano Thanks! That's what I was thinking but wasn't entirely sure as I'd not come across one in my tank before. I guess I should nuke it, but it looks pretty nice up close. I think I can just snip the end off the rock. Thanks again! Link to comment
Pinner Reef
ya cut chip off the rock. They're hard to kill and I haven't found anything that eats them. Link to comment
SgtBhaji
Yeah. I think I'll do that. I'm tempted to pull out a small beta type tank we have sitting around and see if I can keep them going in that. Seems a shame to kill them. Link to comment
ghostgr
No need to destroy your rock. Spray it with boiling water. Worked great for me. Link to comment
SgtBhaji
I shouldn't need to destroy the rock, I can just snip a small portion off the corner where they are sat without touching any of the zoas. Link to comment
