No way :-( I'm gonna set up post and look to see if I can find something on them. I read that flat worm exit will kill them alos? Is that right?

Yes FWE will kill them. Wait up after lights out and see if you can spot them in the night. The thing that caught my eye was what appers to be an egg sac in the picture just above the hermit shell looking thing and to the right.

It is either that or your frogspawn is stinging the colony.

I actually just moved it to that location 2 days ago. I thought it needed more light so I moved it higher up and it already looked like that.

I think that big thing is an infected zoa swollen to bursting... yes that happens.

I used my advanced computing skillz to circle what I thought were the eggs. (Top speck in the circle)

Look at the colony at night to see if you can spot the nudis. Their "feathers" on their back take on the color of the colony they are eating so look close. Lawnman may very well be correct... didn't think about the fungus.

Fungus is killing your zoas. People never keep the mats clean of detritus and it starts a fungus.

Either nudi's or fungus gets my vote. I think I see eggs in the same spot pinner did :(. Your post is kinda ironic. I was just thinking about how I want to make a thread as a tribute to the turkey baster. The most overlooked and under appreciated tool in reefing. I use the same 99 cent baster that I bought years ago, on a daily basis. My life would be hell without that thing, lol.

I didnt see anything on my zoas last night, Could it be the fungus? what stops that???

A peroxide dip will knock out most fungal infections. I use a 5:1 water to peroxide ratio and let them sit in the dip for about 5 minutes. It will also take out any nudi's (or just about anything else as well) that may be on the rock. Be sure to shake the rock vigorously before you take it out of the dip and put it back in the tank. I think the jury is still out on whether or not peroxide actually kills nudi's, or just stuns them enough so that they let go of the zoa and float off when the rock is shaken.

I didn't know what that was I assumed it was a deformed zoa. So my Zoas have a fungus or nudis? Maybe both?

Both is always a possibility. Both can be treated though :).

I'm prepping for tonight. I bought a turkey baster and I'm mixing up some SW right now For a water change.

Now is there a certain peroxide to use? Do I use it in SW or FW

Clean the mats, between the polyps, with firm basting, when they are closed. At night is best. Regularly.

This will dislodge uneaten food, detritus, and occasionally nudis.

Suck up the nudis with the baster and toss.

Nudi eggs are white, small, and in a spiral, usually found on a stalk of a polyp(palys usually). Scrape them off with a scalpel, preferably outside your tank, then rinse before putting back.

Get that blob out of there, whatever it is.

As noted, H2O2 causes nudis to dissolve, not even a lot will do it. Zoas are pretty tolerant of H2O2 Just make sure they are all butted up.

They eat palys too, I find more there than on Zoas. So baste them every night or so as well.

Ok just finished the first treatment and wow there was a lot of crud on the mats when I had them in the bucket. Dead creatures were floating on the top. I guess tomorrow I'll see how my Zoas are when they open up

Don't be alarmed if they are still closed tomorrow or even the next day. While zoas tolerate it fairly well, peroxide is a harsh dip. It's common for it to take them a few days to open up again.
