AdamNC
I've noticed a small algae break out but nothing that isn't manageable, light dusting on the glass every other day and a few small patches of hair algae. Link to comment
j0shbd
I've been using Fuel in conjunction with Acropower for the last 6 months or so, and I'd say the results have definitely been net positive with absolutely no signs algae. For my 34G mixed reef (albeit heavy in sps) I dose an inner cap-full of Fuel on Monday and Friday, and one cap-full of Acropower on Wednesday. I would highly recommend SLOWLY working up the dosage over the course of a month or so to give your tank time to adjust accordingly. However, in my experience, these kind of amino additives are most effective (and the least potentially harmful) in a system that is already nutrient low, such as carbon dosing. For example, I was using biopellets but recently switched to vinegar (up to 11ml daily). Link to comment
Paandemonium
The stuff works great, I dose an inner capful on Mondays and Thursday's(after my thursday water change. This time around(I used to dose this about three years ago on the NanoCube I had at the time) its only been three weeks and I'm seeing color enhancements + longer skirts already. I'm using this and I'm adding marine snow to the mix soon. No algae issues thus far. Be mindful not to dose too much as I believe this has a good amount of iodine in it. Imo the best mix for a tank is 1) fuel 2) live phyto + rotifers 3) giant skimmer Link to comment
Halo_003
I dose 5ml every Saturday (I do my WC Friday nights) and I get excellent PE on everything. Birdsnest's & Stylo's are all very happy so far, LPS seems to puff up more and z/p's look better. Link to comment
ghostgr
I was dosing brightwells koralcolor and havent notoced much of a change if at all.
