Snails latching onto each other during acclimation

I put 2 trochus, 2 astrea and 1 nessarius in a bowl to acclimate them before dropping them in. Two snails are latched on to the one nessarius. Is this normal behaviour or should I separate them?

 

It's a battle royale!

Totally normal. They still do that in my aquarium. They just looking for algae.
