It has been more than 2 years since I left this hobby for the freshwater planted tank with CO2. Got inspired from looking at Takashi Amano's designs at an aquarium convention. I sold nearly all my saltwater gear. But I later found out that my passion truly lies in saltwater aquarium. So I decided that it's time to get back here, miss you guys!!

Equipment

• Fluval Spec 2 Gallon
• ZETLight Nano Series ZN1702
• Ecoxotic LED Strips
• MiniJet 606

• Hydor Elite Mini Heater

Current Status 12/24/14

[MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS!]

Got a lot of help from a local Nano-Reefer(gw11ucb) yesterday. He filled my tank with awesomeness!

Lots of new corals and a lot of aged live rocks as well. :P

Awesome... love the iron man shots... haha... Cool little tank, will be sweet in no time I'm sure.

Are you running that chemipure purigen etc all before the tank is cycled?

If you are still cycling the tank, take everything out except the floss. The other stuff will work to purify the water which also (unfortunately) rids the tank of the bacteria that you're trying to grow.

Love the scape for the 2 gallon set up.

Love the Ironman even more! Please ensure he's in all the future pics!

Must see Ironman take out algae bloom with lazer beam from his palm!

Thanks guys, me being silly, left Chemipure in there to make water clear up faster, it's removed now. Hahaha! :P

I'm glad I can help make someone laugh for a bit. Hehehe!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'll keep you guys posted on what's going on. I will check water parameters soon as a reference for the cycle, and I'll do my best to include Iron Man in future pictures. Hahaha~ :D

  • 2 weeks later...

I hope everyone is doing well. It's a holiday weekend, woohoo! Been quite a busy lask week here, with the finals and Dragon Age: Inquisition. One finds time is a limited resource. :P

Anyhow, water parameters has been tested and it looks.... promising! I have ordered some cleanup crew and hermit crab to test the progress from ReefCleaners, love those guys. Should be here either this weekend or early next week.

And here's the test results!

Can you ask Tony Stark where he got the ZETlight from? Google won't show me who sells them.

It's from http://www.zetlight.com/ . Sorry for the late reply. It's quite hectic here. Tony is busy too.

Nice! Over in Orinda (East Bay) we got a little hail as well! Hopefully the Sierra mountains will get a lot of snow.

There will definitely be some snow up there. Going up to snowboard/ski ?

Sweet... Looking good!

It's getting there. :)

It seems the Duncan are having trouble adjusting to my lights, they open up when the lights are off. Gotta move it around somewhere.
