Really Clarkii?

Ok so I was feeding my clarkii clownfish day before yesterday and I noticed something hanging out of its mouth. Upon closer inspection It turns out to be a piece of red macro algae off of my live rocks. No big deal right he got hungry and went munching on some algae. Well the problem is this. Its still stuck in his/her mouth. Its long enough that it touches one of its eyes.

Do I need to try to remove it for him/her or let nature take its course. Mr. Clarkii still eats fine and acts normal but I'm sure this could be stressful on it. Its like having a booger you can't pick! Ugh. Only my retarded fish.

I'd probably opt for removing it, especially if the clarki is super tame like some I've seen. But if she can still eat it's probably not an emergency or anything.

Ya he/she seems fine but not tame enough to just stick my hand in there and pull it off. I'd have to catch remove and release. Which Is why I haven't done it yet. It may stress clarkii more than he algae just hanging out there. Ill just have to keep an eye on the situation I guess. I just know how mad I'd be if I had something stuck between my teeth and couldn't get it out.
