Overall I can't find any real complaints on the quality and craftsmanship of the tank or stand. Everything came well packed and without any damage. Seams are clean and even. Glass is squared up perfectly and the high clarity is beautiful. The stand finish is nice and the high gloss makes for easy cleaning and great for resisting water. The sump is designed a little oddly but fine enough. My only issues are a slightly noisey durso drain and the return pump could be a little stronger.

Tank: Cadlights 50 gallon Artisan II

Lighting: Nano box tide ( temporary, still deciding on upgrade)

Flow: tunze 6025 and 6045 (upgrading to 6020 and 6040 or gyre)

Return pump: stock 550 gph (upgrading to a dc controllable)

Skimmer: Cadlights gen 3 pls 100 (upgrading to...something)

The tank looks clean and simple, the shimmer effect looks great. I would personally make an island of rocks (about 2/3 tank height) in the middle of the tank and completely cover it with SPS. Keep up the updates!

Dayum!!!!

Looking good man!!!

Thanks bro. Been a busy past few days. The water has cleared up for the most part and the corals and fish all transferred successfully. The corals are reacting well with the tide cranked up to 255 blue and 150 whites.

It's covering the 24x24 area fine to the eye. I'll keep a close watch on the corals but so far everything looks good

Thanks! I'm probably going to try either three smaller islands or two with a cove on the left. After i upgrade the lighting i might attempt some sps but right now I'm going to stick with softies and lps.

Just a little haze left but everything is still doing well. None of the zoas are reaching, shroom is opened up and nems seem to be happy

Really nice tank! Ready to see this one come along.
I'm excited for this man! :)
Thanks! I'm pretty excited myself. No good updates but the water is cleared up and everything is looking great

Skimmer seems to be breaking in and the noise in the drain dying down. Thinking the stronger return pump will help with that too once i get it. Been a busy week with my mom visiting from out of town but hopefully i can get the final scape done tomorrow

Tonight's plan is to get my final scape done. Largest island in the back right corner, medium island in the left back corner and two smaller islands near the front center. Hopefully i have enough liverock to pull it off without needing to purchase more.

New scape. Not exactly what i want but will do for now until i can pick up a taller piece of liverock. I'm happy with the island on the left with the creepers in the front. Currently stuck with the single rocks on the right because my rock nems are attached to them.

Unfortunately I've been so busy traveling with work my tank took a hit on cleanliness. Parameters are still in check but it was filthy until I cleaned it up the other day. Now that the work schedule has slowed down I plan on downsizing to my 12 gallon cube or 15 gallon zen. I'll be selling the 45 cube including plumbing but keeping the stand and sump.

Are you still using the Tide on this tank? Curious how things are doing?

-Dave

All corals were doing really well with the tide but someone during my travels, the white and color channel went completely out on me. I'm hoping to get some time this weekend to check it out

So Dave contacted me and is having me send back the tide to get it working again and I'm having him switch it to a hanging light. Still going to downsize the tank. I like the big cube but I prefer the looks of a smaller nano and clear silicone. I have a Glass Holes Super Nano Con Dientes In-N-Out Complete System on the way so I can still make good use of the stand and sump. What tank I'm using, however, is still up in the air. Debating between the aquatop 12 gallon cube, cadlights zen 15 gallon and the ADA 60f. The 20 inch length of the zen also gives me the option to set it up as a peninsula on the stand if I wanted. Decisions...
