aviator300
I'm a very basic computer literate type guy but i'm still in the 1st grade (figuratively speaking). I've figured out basic posting and use Photobucket for pics but there is a couple things i'd like some help doing. 1. When i'm talking about what light i use, etc, i'd like to know how to create a link to that light (or other product) that the reader can just punch. Everyone else does it but i dont know how. 2. I have a couple tank threads going at the same time. How do i create a signature with links to my other build threads? REMEMBER...i'm in the 1st grade of computer know how or i could probably figure these things out myself.. Link to comment
rocksmom
1. Just copy the url from the address bar and paste it in in the message. It will automatically become a link after hitting enter or space. 2. Click the down arrow by your username and go to my settings, then the signature tab. Type out however you want your signature to look. Next copy the url and with the name of your build highlighted, click on the link button in the editing toolbar. It's the one with the little chain link and plus sign. A dialog box will pop up. Paste your url there. Alternatively in number 1 you can do the same thing as I outlined in number 2 if you want the link to the item to be the item's name rather than the url. Link to comment

seanoli
Similar question: It seems that the URL generated includes the current title of the thread. I've noticed that most people change their thread title as they add updates, so is there a static address that will always point to the same thread no matter how the title is changed? Link to comment
