"29" gallon biocube

I have a 29 gallon biocube, I have had it for a year. I have some corals, a skunk shrimp, and a clown fish. I know the tank is officially 25 gallons. Would it be ok to add 3 pj Cardinal's and 1 more clown?

I keep my 29gal with only 3 fish. If I were you I would get another clown (it's best to get one smaller than the one you have) and maybe some flashy show fish like a wrasse or a smaller damsel.

I can be a wrasse in there? If I knew that, I wouldn't of a asked, I was going to put a yellowtail damsel and another clown in there but my LFS refused, and told me to put 2-3 pj cardnal's in there along with another clown, that's why I came here and asked.

Id love to just add another clown and wrasse, I have tons of swimming space. What wrasse would you guys recommend since I never have had one? Are they ok with corals also?

I have the following in my 29 gallon biocube

2- clownfish

1- clown goby

1- dart fish

1- royal gramma

1- springers damsel

1- ruby red dragonet

1- blue striped pipefish

There are too many factors to consider when saying you can only have such and such amount of fish in a such and such sized tank.

To the OP, if your water parameters are easily kept with in acceptable levels, your fish are fat and happy, and you want to add a fish then add it. If you are struggling to keep nitrates down then don't. It really is that simple. My biocube is thriving with no unwanted algae and all of the inhabitants are thriving. You don't even want to know what I am able to keep in my 65 mixed reef. LOL

I had cardinals and they love to nip at fins so I traded them back in. I find It strange he refused to sell you a damsel with another clown. Damsels can be aggressive over territory but my LFS keeps a 20gal display not for sale tank with clowns and a damsel. But as far as a wrasse goes you could get a six line or one of the possum wrasse. Gobies are cool too if you like those.

I did not get the cardnal's yet, almost did last night. I think they don't recomond the damsel because they are cheap. I think I'll do this. Let me know if it's to much.( this is including what I already have).

2 clowns

1 six line

1 yellow tail damsel

1 skunk shrimp
