MysterRC
I’ve had my 39g cube running well for the past several months, but I’m thinking about starting a small, second tank for in my office (I work from home). Due to me shutting down my fish room where I was breeding some freshwater fish, I have access to several 10G tanks. The part I’m wondering about is filtration and water movement. I have access to multiple AC30’s I could easily toss on the tank. Would that be enough, or would I need a powerhead? What should I run in the AC’s? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
MysterRC
If I put 1 aquaclear30, some dry live rock rubble from BRS and some live sand in it… can I live without a skimmer? I’m planning, for now, on this mostly being a place to grow out some xenia and some zoas. Link to comment
acrab78
I wouldnt do sand in it personally... all rock rubble would be a better idea, then you could turkey baste it and let another filter pick up the detrius. Either that or just have enough rock in the tank and run some floss and chemipure or something in the AC 30... Link to comment
