URGENT: Brown Jelly Disease, Torch Coral? Can I use REVIVE?

i accidently cracked the coral in half and glued the skeleton back together. That happened two days ago. It puffed up for a bit, but now I am seeing some brown jelly around the flesh where the glued it back together.

Can I do a revive dip?

Any other ideas?

EDIT:

Where can I buy Lugol's Iodine in store on a Sunday?

I would probably take the head off that you glued back on. I lost a branching hammer to brown jelly and could have saved it if I would have cut more of they dying branches off. Take the head back off and toss it. I would just patch the hole with glue, dip, and hope for the best.

Just got some Brightwell Iodine, However there is no instructions for dipping. What is the ratio for Iodine:SW? How long should I dip it for? Should I rinse it with SW afterwards or place directly in tank? Thanks!

I'm not sure that's the same as Lugol's solution. Lugol's is usually really concentrated and comes in a dropper. You can maybe get it for much cheaper at your pharmacist. It MIGHT even be the same as human iodine for like cuts and stuff.

If it doesn't have dip instructions then it's probably the supplement, and not the dip

Brown jellly is a type of infection. Your best bet for fighting it would be treating the coral in a QT/hospital tank with some antibiotics:

If i cut the coral in half, all the flesh will be exposed since its all one piece. Plus I don't have a dremel, clippers, or bandsaw to cut it with. I don't have a QT tank or anything either :\
