mrBananas
Does anyone feed their Cyphastrea, what was your experience? I haven't had mine for long, but they look happy so far without being fed directly. Thoughts? Link to comment
marko
i have a meteor shower cyph. it hated direct light from my MH. was a pale brown within days even at the bottom and would not grow at all. in the shade - its growth exploded, and it turned a pretty blue and red. so IME, thats the main thing to look at if your tank is high light. as for feeding, it can eat. i target feed it with my sps, give it reef chili, reef roids, cyclopeeze, rotifers mixed together 2x a week. sometimes when feeding my lps with tongs if i get a really small bit of mysis or brine or scallop i give it that and it eats it up. the meteor shower (or look alike) you have there has ~50 mouths - that suggests that it would like to eat at some point Link to comment
ManGups
I use coral frenzy with phytoplankton once a week at night and broadcast feed over the frag with pumps off. I have had say abt 10% overall growth in 1 month since I got it Link to comment
