MMK1
So a few weeks ago I took a water sample to my LFS and the guy told me that my alkalinity was too low and my calcium too high. He then sold me a 2 part dosing mixture and said dose every 3 days. Today I rechecked both calcium and alkalinity and my ALK was at 17 ppm GH/Kh and my CA is about 580 ppm. What can I do to bring these down? I've been finding a lot of info about low CA and high ALK, but not when both are high. My corals seem to be happy and growing, but I'd obviously like to get to the correct levels. Any help is greatly appreciated. Link to comment
CronicReefer
Stop dosing and I would do 25% water changes for the next 3 days to bring the alk and calc down you should have between 8-12 kh and 400-480 calc Link to comment
