Bryopsis in a new cycling tank

Hello folks,

I just finished cycling a new 40g breeder ( 5th week now) and I was ready to move everything from my old 15g. As usual, after a cycle is complete, I had some algae here and there but as long as they grew up I realized it might be the infamous bryopsis.

Posting pics below for a visual confirmation (iphone pics, sorry for the awful quality)

Now, I'd like to get a confirmation it is Bryopsis. In case it is, I know treating with that Kent magnesium product have had good results for many people but I'm living in Japan and it's probably hard if not impossible to find it. Anything else I should try? Should I avoid moving all of my livestock from my old (and safe) tank to this new 40g? Opinions will be much appreciated!

For the records, I've been using only live matured live rocks in this new tank and the values are all in check.

Post one on the thread below this one, the biggest thread in this forum is a bryopsis or similar variant w before and after pics go get em!

At least a hundred times there we talk about taking affected rocks out of the tank and spot treating and thats the right start for your tank. Your pics show the classic invasion associated with letting any form of algae bloom in a cycle. The old advice that it goes away doesn't always pan out. Everybody has an idea of what works and what doesn't. I'm just highlighting one of the options with lots of pics.
