DodgerDave
Hi All! So I picked up a used 30 gallon set up this past weekend! Came with all the live stock! Hoping you can help ID a couple of fishes for me. I was told it was a flame angel, but looking online, it doesn't look like it from the images. Obviously a clown fish, but what type? Link to comment
sean1986
The top one is a Red Hawk fish and the bottom looks like a dark clarkii Link to comment
Neebles
Flame Hawkfish for sure. Not sure about the clown Link to comment
DodgerDave
Dead on with the flame hawkfish. Looking at other photos, the clown I have doesn't look like a dark clarkii comparing online. Any clownfish experts wanna chime in? Link to comment
Halo_003
Definitely a flame hawkfish of course. The clown I believe is a Galaxy Clarkii. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+27+3319&pcatid=3319 They're a good bit darker in person than that picture though. Link to comment
clownfitch
The clown could also possibly be a Spotcinctus Clownfish. http://reefbuilders.com/2013/10/16/mature-adult-spotcinctus-knockout-clownfish/ One of our local breeders had a few. Link to comment
