my_sons_reef
I just noticed my mushrooms shriveled up and my Zoas have been closed up more and more. All my other corals look healthy and my parameters are all within spec. Link to comment
atrox
If my zoas close up it's generally been the result of alk levels swinging. Make sure alk is stable, and post what yore levels are currently. Link to comment

my_sons_reef
I feed every other day. 1 cube of plankton, brine shrimp, or marine cuisine. I soak it in some tank water and add 1 drop of garlic xtreme. Every 2 days I feed reef roids in the water column no real direct feedings to the corals unless my Duncan catches something solid floating by Everything else seems healthy just as the day before. My shrooms have lost that stringy stuff but haven't opened up all the way to cover up all the rock their on. I did notice these weird snails Link to comment
RollaJase
Check your water temp, my mushies and zoas did the same when my heater died. Link to comment
my_sons_reef
My tank has always ran a little warm 79-81. South Texas heat and at this end of the house it's the warmest. I have black curtains and the ceiling fan on during the day. I even added 2 more auxiliary fans to my nano cube hood Link to comment
opaquelace
I wish I knew. Its what I am trying to figure out Those are guts. Also, your water is too hot. Try lowering your heater. I know some people like to keep their water in the high 70s and low 80s but it's best to run it between 74 and 78. I live in Louisiana and I can keep mine around there. Link to comment
my_sons_reef
I don't even use a heater lol I really didnt want to add a chiller because of the lack of space I have but it might be the solution. Link to comment
