Polyp Addict
Has anyone placed their chemi pure in their filter sock? I was considering doing this because I heard that chemi pure is best when a high volume of water is tumbling through it. What do you all think? Link to comment
reefernanoman
I don't know about a filter sock, but I have put it on small media bags before and it worked pretty well when I was using it inside an A/C filter. Link to comment
clownfitch
with as much yuck as my filter socks take out I would not want to clog the media bag. A high flow area past the filter sock would be ideal. Link to comment
Drexellake
Should be fine in the sock. Best place to put it short of a reactor IMO. You can put filter floss or another type of mechanical media on top of it if you're concerned with it getting clogged. My tank doesn't get that dirty. http://www.vividaquariums.com/t-filtration.aspx Link to comment
