disaster999
Anyone uploads to picasa? Im having some massive issues with picasa messing with the colors and ruining my pictures. Any tips on how to correct this? I shoot raw and use photoshop to convert to jpeg and upload. Guess which one is from picasa... Link to comment
seabass
Could the file be getting compressed during the upload? Are you using a mobile app to upload? Link to comment
disaster999
Nope, I was using my computer. Tried the web based picasa and the picasa program and both messed up the colors when uploading.. If theres no fix for it, i need to find another photo sharing site...I cant figure flickr for the life of me. I dont like photobucket interface. Im uploading my pictures to facebook and they seem to be reproducing the colors correctly...might just use that instead. A pain to copy the image URL tho... Link to comment
seabass
Are you using the latest version? Some searches show people having similar color problems: http://www.bing.com/search?q=picasa+inaccurate+colors&go=Submit&qs=n&form=QBRE&pq=picasa+inaccurate+colors&sc=0-11&sp=-1&sk=&cvid=da850285060e463aa2a8656761ca2eae Disclaimer: I've never used Picasa. mrBananas
I like Imgur and I don't believe it compresses photos. I have yet to find an easier to use image hosting site. Link to comment
Tamberav
Imgur compresses to 1mb. I use Minus for photos. You do not need to register and their limit is a whopping 30MB per file. Ofc with no registration you don't have an easy place to access your photos but I haven't had a broken link from the few years I have been using it. http://minus.com/ Link to comment

disaster999
Asking in Google forums gave me an answer. Turns out theres a setting in Google+ where it will auto enhance your pictures when you upload to Google. Going into Google + and turning off that setting solved my problem. Link to comment
