Torch Detatching, Possibly Polyp Bailout?

So I picked up a two headed torch yesterday from the LFS, got it home stuck it in the tank and it opend right up, happy as a clam.

 

Today, when I came home I noticed that it was big enough to reach and sting my monti and frogspawn so I moved it over to a different side of the tank.

 

After throughly pissing it off and trying to find somewehre that It seemed happy- I noticed this.

 

 

It looks like the polyp was dislodging from the skeleton, the other head was happy, and secure.

I went to take a shower and came back,

And it looks to have reattached its self? Should I be worried?

It could just be in the process of splitting that head. My frogspawn just did something similar a few days ago. If you see brown jelly then I would start worrying
