ESHOPPS PSK-100

So on my 40 Breeder I was running a A/C 70 with filter floss and carbon and then a Aquaticlife mini 115 skimmer. So yeah my filtration was WAY under what it needed to be and I really do not want to deal with a sump/fuge at this point in time.

I was reading a lot about HOB skimmer and the ESHOPPS caught my eye and my LFS down here in Virginia Beach hooked me up and was able to get it for the same price as I saw online. It's been running for a week now and pulling AMAZING skim out of it. Even on the 1st day it had already started pulling, no micro bubbles and is a quiet unit. Yes you can hear it but come on people, nothing is going to be silent.

Overall the construction is SOLID, quiet, and is performing really well so far. I can't wait to see how the unit holds up over time. Another HUGE plus was the large collection cup and the drain line you can hook up and use if you are not able to keep a super close eye on it. Seems like they thought of just about everything with this unit. VERY HAPPY!

my very first skimmer was an eshopps psk-75 and this was before the switch to the sicce pumps. always performed well.

I currently have an Eshopps S-120 running on a 40b and it's amazing.

I was gonna go with the PSK-75 but the LFS had the PSK-100 and it was like $10 more so I went with the larger unit and I'm happy I did with my 40B. I think the Eshopps has one of the cleaner designs out of the majority skimmers out there and I haven't seen anything negative about them other than the usual people saying "it's too loud" which I always find that a joke, nothing will be totally silent with pumps.
