Has anyone found other cheap alternatives? This will face a sump compartment in my 20L aio and only needs to light about 6"x6". Thanks Link to comment

Cameron6796
It would definetly work... But may be a bit over kill for 13$ though I'd take it Link to comment

iceet
Don't think you would fry the chaetos, but I think chaeto likes more natural yellow than the bluer/whiter light LED's emit. A cheap home depot incandescent bulb may be better for growth and less risk of fried chaetos. Link to comment
Horerczy
I think you'd need a stronger light than that to fry chaeto or any other macro algae really. It would probably work as a fuge light fine though. Link to comment
