Chardie3342
So I had a BW clown for about a week before I acquired a significantly larger ocellaris clown. The one I assume to be female is aggresive towards my BW and often charges him then shakes. My BW never shakes and has had a small nip in his dorsal fin. I am going to let them sort it out because they have been together about three weeks. While looking at the flow and trying to figure out how to eliminate a dead spot in my 10g with them in it I found this and it looks an awful lot like an egg. Can anyone help? Link to comment

k4ndyk1ng
Those look like new heads budding yeah there would be much more space than that covered by eggs Link to comment
Chardie3342
What is the bright orange ball on the live rock lower down? Not the new heads on the frogspawn. Looks like a single egg Link to comment
Tamberav
Doesn't look like a clownfish egg to me... besides they lay clutches and... you would have seen nesting behavior and a gravid female about to pop. Wishful thinking imo Maybe some sort of macro algae starting? I have a few that glow a bit. Link to comment
Chardie3342
Thanks for the macro suggestion! I think it might be a variety of nemastoma, hope nothing eats it.... Link to comment
