DVaDeR77
Is in possible to shorten a bulkhead so as to not stick as far out the back of tank. Id like to shorten them by at least an inch for the main drain. They are 1 in for Bean Animal normal ABS heads. Link to comment
Deleted User 8
Probably. Just make sure to put the nut on before you cut the chunk off the end. When you remove it after the cut, it will chase the threads on the end you cut. I would use an exacto razor saw or something with a fine tooth. Buzz Link to comment
DVaDeR77
I was going to either use my dremel or a soldering iron with razor attachment Link to comment
Deleted User 8
I would not use either a dremel or some soldering iron attachment.I would think that would bunger up the threads quite a bit. Razor saw and go slow. Clean up the cut end with a no. 11 exacto blade and/or some 600 grit sandpaper. Link to comment
