21CentSchizMan
Hi folks, I'm new to the forum. I set up a pico 5g about a month ago and got this acan about a week ago. It had nice blue borders and red interior. Now it's stone grey and all of it's feeding tubes are hanging out all the time. All water tests are good, alkalinity, calcium, nitrate, phosphate, ph, etc. For light I have two ecopico arms with three 4W white/blue on each, for a total of 24W LED about 5 inches above the water. Low - moderate flow. Light is probably on the high end of low, maybe? This guy is about halfway up, so about 10" from the lights. I target fed it some Kents microvert a couple times, and it responded by bringing it in. It looks fuzzy like this all the time, but this image adds blue. It's just grey. These sweepers should come out if I I'm feeding or at night, but this is bad all the time, right? I ordered a razor nano, so maybe more light will help? Or less? I'll have the flexibility either way with the razor. Would be grateful for any experience or knowledge Thanks Link to comment
21CentSchizMan
Maybe it was just hungry. Just after posting this thread I fed it some brine shrimp with a long eye dropper. Each head took one in instantly. You can see the difference from the first post, as well as the shrimp sticking out of some. Looks much better. I hope it lasts. I'll report back. Link to comment

21CentSchizMan
Hey, that's great to hear. Thanks for the replies. I looked at tons of pictures in my searches and didn't see any like this so I figured mine was dying. I guess people only take pictures when they are fat and happy. (The acan, not the people). I also see now that there is a coral forum. So I'll post there next time! Link to comment
