atrox
I've always liked the look of green star polyps on the back glass, and I've already got some nice Xenia growth taking over the overflow. Clean black back looks nice, I'm just looking for opinions. Link to comment
k4ndyk1ng
It's up to you, I love it because it looks like a carpet Link to comment
seabass
It's a pain, and will eventually get on other rocks and take over territory. Link to comment
k4ndyk1ng
But it is easy to peel off the glass to prevent it getting to the rocks. Link to comment
frankdr
I'm doing that in my Nuvo 8 right now. I just started two spots. I might change my mind later - but for now that's the plan. One thing I noticed so far is that it's growing 'up' the wall, instead of 'down' I can always peel off any areas that become a problem. Link to comment
Chezwyn
Imo, it will make other green corals in your tank look bland. Green corals against a green background Link to comment
doradosteve
Go for it. That's my plan too! Link to comment
Polarcollision
I'm doing this too. +1 to the comment that it only grows up, not down the wall. Link to comment
petkingdom619
It grows up toward the light Link to comment
masterbuilder
I say..nope. Anything on the back glass, including coralline, reduces the depth of field (for a lack of a better term) and gives the tank a super shallow artificial look....to my eye anyway. Your tank looks nice the way you have it. Link to comment
