I have a couple of questions for everyone here.

1) If you had the opertunity to by a what looked like a mini Full size tank from off the shelf would you?

2) If you would then how much would you pay for this turn key system?

The Specs would be:

2.5gallon tank

Stand

Canopy

LED lighting

Filtation secion in the back would have a spot for carbon/gfo and a Cheato section with LED grow light.

Pump

heater

This would be what the tank would look like for the most part. (this is not my tank. Just saw some pics of it on the internet)

Maybe it would be a novelty for people who had bigger tanks. But why would I want a mini looking big tank instead of a rimless tank that looks awesome.

A novelty tank prob would be the idea he was goin for. Or possably a nice little tank to put on a shelf somewhere as well.

The LED lights would be Ecoxotic 12" E-30 Full Spectrum LED (fits aquariums 12”-18” in length) with remote control! These have full spectrum with a remote!

Why not JavaJacketOC? Just out of curiosity

This tank set up is a very dated look and I just think that there are better looking 2.5 gallon setups you could spend your money on.

the look is very personal so that isnt really valid reason for the OP to not to buy it. if the looks suits his needs then by all means go for it.

im just more concerned about stability issues with such a small tank. they are more susceptible to parm swings and need constant monitoring to keep parms stable. if are confident in controlling that then by all means go for it
