Neutral white vs. Cool white

I've read that 65K is good for growing macroalgae which is CW but I wanted full spectrum for coral growth. So is there a preference between CW and NW for macroalgae growth? Would a mix be better?

With algae, more red is more better. If you're using LEDs and just want growth, you want to use 660nm deep red and 450nm royal blue in a 4:1 or 6:1 ratio. If it is a display and you care about looks, use 2700K warm white, royal blue, and blue in a 1:2:1 ratio to keep a decent color temperature without being too red-heavy (makes it difficult to take pictures, etc).

If you're wanting to use CFL, use warm white if it's not a display and replace every 3 months, and use cool white if it is a display and replace every 4 months.

Sorry I didn't add enough info! I want LEDs only and it will be a display tank. Would the 1:2:1 ratio work with soft corals? I've never heard of using WW with corals would it provide the right temp?
